The Hazelwood Fire Department remains committed to excellence in the advanced life support arena, working to provide our citizens with a highly trained, professional staff as well as technologically advanced equipped units. It is our department's goal to provide advanced life support to our citizens, which means equipping all fire trucks with paramedics and life saving equipment. The department runs an average of 2,850 EMS calls a year. If needed, we contract ambulance service through an outside agency via mutual aid agreement.
The Emergency Medical Services Division is coordinated by Battalion Chief of EMS Amanda Boyer.
