Board of Adjustment/Architectural Board of Review
The Board of Adjustment primarily hears appeals for variances of the City’s Zoning Regulations.

Board of Appeals
The Board of Appeals hears appeals relative to compliance with the Building Code, the minimum standards for exterior maintenance and the demolition Code.

City Plan Commission
The City Plan Commission primarily makes recommendations to the City Council on petitions for changes of zoning, subdivisions and Special Land Use Permits.

Civil Service Board
The Civil Service Board primarily hears appeals from disciplinary actions against employees and makes recommendations thereon.

Community Enrichment Commission
The Community Enrichment Commission focuses on preservation and enhancement of the human environment.

Economic Development Sales Tax Board
The Economic Development Sales Tax Board considers economic development plans, economic development projects or designations of an economic development area, among other duties.

The Historic Preservation Commission focuses on preserving City history and heritage.

The Neighborhood Watch Commission focuses on public awareness of crime prevention.
