Filing for candidacy for the April 8, 2025 election will open on December 10, 2024 at 8 a.m. and close on December 31, 2024 at 5 p.m. Petitions for a three-year term for Wards 1, 3, 5, & 7 can be picked up from the City Clerk's office during regular business hours. Candidates must have lived in the City for at least two years immediately prior to the election and must be 21 years of age and a registered voter.
