Do you want to pay fines at the shelter? No? How about stopping by City Hall for a free pet license for your dog or cat! The pet license is a get out of jail free card that will help us ensure the safe return of your pet if it should decide to go out on an adventure. Help us protect your loved ones!

Residents should bring current rabies paperwork to the Police Department Records window in City Hall anytime Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to obtain a pet license. Licensing for Pitbull, Staffordshire Terrier and Bull Terrier breeds are handled specifically by the Animal Control Officer, which can be reached at (314) 838-5000 extension 1.

Residents are permitted to have up to two dogs and one cat or two cats and one dog within the City limits.
