Persons waiting for a meeting or to pick up documents shall wait outside and will be called in. Further, no packages, boxes, reusable bags or similar containers, except purses, shall be permitted in City facilities.

City employees will be provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and be required to wear a mask when working with the public and other employees, following recommendations from the CDC. Additionally, all employees will be screened for COVID-19 related symptoms prior to the start of their shift.

In addition to the closures listed above, the City has canceled all summer camps for the upcoming summer, as well as the annual Fourth of July fireworks show and the Community Art Fair. The 2020 Blue Ribbon Home Awards are postponed until 2021.

Due to the economic impact of the pandemic, the City of Hazelwood has implemented employee furloughs of all non-uniformed employees. Due to the furloughs, Hazelwood City Hall will be closed every Friday through June 26, with the option to extend the closure as needed.
