  1. Adult Karate - Session 2

    October 22, 2020, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Hazelwood Community Center

    For ages 16 and over. The class will be instructed by a USMA Certified Black Belt. Skills in several Martial Arts will be taught including Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Karate with an emphasis on Tae Kwon Do. All skills levels are welcome. Students can advance in rank through regular participation. Experienced students under the age of 16 must have instructor's approval to enroll. There will be no class on November 26.

    For ages 18 and over. Pickleball is a fun racquet sport that incorporates elements of badminton and tennis for two to four players who use small wooden paddles to hit a perforated plastic ball over the net. Players should bring their own paddles.

    For ages 18 and over. In this program you will work on core stabilization, strength, balance and cardio. The program will be taught by Carrie Chamberlain, who will use methods of training that are based on scientific research from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.     For ages 13 and over. Zumba is a combination fitness program and dance party. This low impact cardio workout burns calories, tones bodies and is great for all ability levels. The program will combine Latin dance rhythms with the principles of interval training, body sculpting movements, dance and kick boxing. Registration deadline is September 12.
