Day Camp Program

Summer Camp

The Hazelwood Summer Day Camp Program is a traditional eight-week day camp designed for campers ages 6-11. Activities include games, crafts, STEM, field trips, swimming, and more. The camp takes place at White Birch Park, utilizing outdoor park spaces, the Hazelwood Community Center, White Birch Bay Aquatic Center.

Summer 2026 Registration 

Resident early bird registration begins on February 16th, 2026. Regular Registration for both Residents and Non-Residents begins on March 2nd, 2026. Camper Pre-Registration fees are due at the initial sign-up. Weekly camp am/pm care fees are due the Monday before that session. Discounts are available for those who pay in full for all eight weeks of camp. Camp Fees

  • Camp Pre-Registration Fees (one-time fee per camper): $25
  • Weekly Camp Fee: $105 Residents | $115 Non-Residents (*Week 3: $84 | $94)
  • Weekly AM & PM Care Fee: $60 Residents | $80 Non-Residents (*Week 3: $48 | $68)

Available Discounts

  • Resident Early Bird (February 16 - March 2): 10% discount on weekly camp fees. *Must Register and pay during the discount period -$94.50/Week
  • Camp Paid in Full: Both Residents and Non-Residents may receive a 10% discount on weekly camp fees if the entire eight weeks are paid in full before the first week of camp $756 Residents | $828 Non-Residents

Break Camps

New in Winter 2025 and Spring 2026! Hazelwood Parks and Recreation is offering Winter and Spring Break Camps during the Hazelwood School District breaks. Like Summer Day Camp, campers will enjoy a variety of activities like crafts, games, and sports; primarily taking place inside the Hazelwood Community Center. Break camps are open to ages 6-11.

Camp Employment Opportunities

We hire camp staff each Spring! Check the City of Hazelwood Job Board at https://mo-hazelwood.civicplus.com/Jobs.aspx for available opportunities. Seasonal jobs are usually available for applications beginning in January.


Notice of Childcare Licensure Exempt Status: Under Missouri Law (Section 210.211 RSMo), day camps for the primary purpose of recreation are exempt from child care licensure requirements. The Hazelwood Day Camp Program is covered under this exemption and is NOT a licensed childcare program.
